HGV Class 1 Drivers – Nottinghamshire

Employ Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers – Nottinghamshire to support ongoing tanker and trunking contracts across the region. Current work operates from Newark and surrounding depots, with routes covering Nottinghamshire and neighbouring counties.

If you are a Class 1 driver based in Newark, Nottingham, Mansfield, Worksop, Retford or across Nottinghamshire, we have structured weekday work available with consistent start times and guaranteed minimum hours.

PAYE Pay Rates HGV Class 2 Drivers – Nottinghamshire

Monday to Friday: up to £17.80 per hour
Saturday: up to £20.50 per hour
Sunday: up to £21.25 per hour

(In-House Payroll – No Umbrella)

What You’ll Receive

• Full week bookings issued in advance
• Regular start times each week
• Guaranteed minimum 8 hours per shift
• Paid breaks
• 28 days holiday (or option to have holiday paid on top of hourly rate)
• Ongoing, consistent work
• Support from an experienced transport recruitment team, available seven days a week

This is ideal for drivers who want predictable work patterns and reliable weekly income.

The Role – HGV Class 1 Drivers – Nottinghamshire

AM and PM start times available

• Tanker drop and swap work between customer sites across the UK
• No tanker experience required – all loading and unloading is completed on site
• Average shift length 11 hours
• Full-time and part-time shifts available

This is clean, structured trunking-style work with no manual unloading required.

What We’re Looking For

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
• Valid DCPC card
• Digital Tachograph card
• Professional and reliable approach
• Good written and spoken English
